"I could introduce myself by saying that I am a more or less self taught photographer who has grown up in the forests of Jämtland. A person who likes to drink tea, is driven by a great curiosity and has with the camera everywhere. I could also tell a little more about my background or which one is my favorite color (purple by the way).
But to be honest, I don't want to. I would like to tell you what gives me inspiration.
I love deep forests with mossy old stones where the sunlight barely reaches the ground. And I can hardly explain how fascinated I can get by looking at the beautiful pattern formed in frosty leaves. I think the feeling of watching a dancing Northern Lights a dark winter night is absolutely unbeatable and I love to feel lukewarm summer rain in my face. I love the sound of thin ice that crashes under my shoes during the early winter and I get very excited (and I mean very excited) when I find the first small green leaves in the spring. Quite frankly, I can't imagine a more appealing scent than the one that comes from the forest, the combination of rain, moss, soil, trees and clean air. I also love sitting by a lake and listening to the sound of the water or watching the fog moving between the trees.
In short, I love the magic of nature and that is the feeling and love that I want to share with and convey in my photographs. I hope you will feel it too!
